School Leadership Program

Program Focus

The Together We Rock! School Leadership Program is an opportunity to create awareness about accessibility for and inclusion of people who have a disability through learning and to bring about social change through student leadership and action.

The Together We Rock! School Leadership Program is designed for:

  • Elementary students in grades 6 to 8
  • High school students in grades 9 to 12

Key Components

The Together We Rock! School Leadership Program has one leadership component, four key learning components and one action component,
as illustrated below.

Leadership Program Application

The learning, leadership and action components of the Together We Rock! School Leadership Program can be completed

  • as a class assignment,
  • as a collaborative leadership program of one grade level or school social justice committee, or
  • as an undertaking of the entire school.

The time commitment can vary from one hour to many hours, depending on the number of learning components to be completed and the number of students/classes participating.
