IBM has two new accessibility services to help organizations create accessible applications and content. The two services are the Digital Content Checker and the Automated Accessibility Tester. These services will help organizations provide faster development, create personalized experiences and conform to industry standards and regulations.
The Digital Content Checker allows organizations to upload and verify the accessibility of HTML content or EPUB documents so anyone using the information can easily do so online or on mobile applications. The service examines the content and provides a report outlining all accessibility violations. It also provides recommendations for how to fix the issues.
The Automated Accessibility Tester improves the quality of the testing environment for accessibility reporting by adding accessibility checkpoints. This software allows developers to correct any violations before they launch the program.
These two products aim to improve the user experience on any device, with the ultimate goal of helping to create an inclusive workplace environment.
