The Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Yale University sponsors a series of workshops to inspire feelings of inclusion among staff. One session, called “OUCH! That Stereotype Hurts,” focuses on the negative impact of stereotypes and offers strategies for speaking up against them in a positive way. According to YaleNews, the university’s diversity and inclusion-related training has been offered to more than 1,000 staff members, with extremely positive feedback.
