Waves of Inclusion Conference

“Waves of Inclusion! An Ocean of Opportunity!” Conference is being hosted by Alberta’s Teachers Association (AT) Council for Inclusive Education. The 2016 conference will be held October 13–15 in Kananaskis, Alberta, at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. Inclusion presents a sea of possibility and new treasures that are found in each wave of discovery.  Attendees can choose to focus on one of four streams: “Mental Health/Behaviour,” “Inclusionary Practices,” “Universal Design for Learning,” and “Technology.” The conference will included invited speakers, lunch hour discussions, exhibitors, and more.

Presenters who want to inspire educators are invited to complete the speaker proposal submission form by April 30, 2016. (http://specialeducation.ab.ca/conference/celebrating-the-challenges-2013/call-for-presenters)
