ParaEducate is a resource designed for inclusive education teachers and paraeducators. The organization publishes books, a blog, and other classroom resources, and also hosts conferences.

A paraeducator is defined as anyone who works in a classroom without holding teaching credentials. Many paraeducators work with students with disabilities. Some of these workers do not feel that they receive sufficient training, so having an online resource can help answer questions, provide ideas, and define best practices.

ParaEducate is interested in helping schools work to initiate an inclusive model of education or improve an existing one. This may be supported by creating teams of paraeducators and teachers, and ParaEducate can arrange training sessions.

ParaEducate’s publications include a resource guide, books focusing on teaching subject-specific vocabulary to students with disabilities, and academic materials such as lesson plans, note-taking guides, reading pages, communication boards, and data sheets.
