John’s Accessible Summer Adventures: Stratford Festival

The Together We Rock! team attended the production of “To Kill a MockingBird” at the Stratford Festival, Stratford, Ontario. This large ensemble drama delivers a powerful performance and is a timely reminder that racism still exists in our contemporary world. Jonathan Goad is brilliant as lawyer Atticus Finch. Scout who is Atticus’ daughter is played masterfully by Clara Poppy Kushnir and Irene Pool. Bravo to the entire cast and production team for a wonderful theatre experience.

The Festival Theatre features wheelchair-accessible and special access seating. There is a designated washroom, motorized door control and American Sign Language interpretation and audio description on select performance dates. The website of the Stratford Festival has extensive information on accessibility and services.
