The Government of Canada recently launched a call for expressions of interest for youth leaders across Canada, who will work with eligible organizations to submit project proposals under the Enabling Accessibility Fund’s (EAF) Youth Innovation Component.

The Government of Canada plans on passing legislation to transform how accessibility is addressed in the country, and to support this, it has launched a national consultation process. The Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities is seeking the public's input, including feedback on the goals, approach, scope, and enforcement of the legislation.

The Government of Canada is encouraging businesses and community organizations to apply for the 2016 Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF). A call for proposals has gone out for projects qualifying for one of the EAF’s two funding streams, Workplace Accessibility and Community Accessibility.
